Delicious 2010 Baron De Ley Gran Reserva . Mainly Tempranillo (85%) with some Graciano, the grapes are from the small Cenicero vineyard located in Rioja Alta. Matured for 2 years in 50% French oak and 50% American oak, with a further 3 years in the bottle before release. On the palate it is full bodied, soft and smooth in a classic Rioja style. Dark fruit, tobacco, black pepper with mild balsamic notes. The acidity and tannins are well balanced and give a complex and long finish.
