Very nice slightly richer Lugana. Almonds, white flowers and fruit. Balanced with sneaky concentration. Had this with a selection of Sushis and it worked nicely with most of them. Think this would go nicely with Risotto — 8 years ago

How to create this taste from merlot and CS. Of course, it contains a bit another grape. But mainly process is a bit different. Dry up in open door room for 2 months. So the taste is condensed, a bit sweet. But and also Lychee taste derived from its terroir. I am confused with mixed with white originally though. Winery started with Sergio Zenato and his wife Carla as they began to produce quality wines from an indigenous varietal, Trebbiano di Lugana passing it down to their children. Deep Ruby with aromas of sweet dried berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate ripe blackberry, currants and sweet cherry with complex spice. Well balanced with acidity and alcohol, full-body with soft tannins on lingering finish. Nice value. — 5 years ago
