Black and blue berries, earth, tobacco. Layered beautifully. Power and elegance in harmonious balance! Has so much more to go! Wish I saved this opening for about 10-12 more years! Makes me fall back in love with CA Cabs!!! — 8 years ago
2010 vintage. Medium golden hue. On the nose, deep concentration of aromas. Waxy, canned apricots, white pepper, white flower, cream and hazelnut. On the palate, medium minus acidity, medium plus alcohol, full body and concentration. Longish finish. Very good. Would probably wait another 2+ years to reach another level. Drink now until 2022+. NB: serve chilled, as becomes fat as gets to room temperature. — 8 years ago
Amazing wish I could drink this wine all the time — 8 years ago
The wine of tonight is Conn Valley from Anderson's Vineyards 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon estate reserve!!! Ka Pow! The color is opaque and the legs are thick, slow, and dark! The bouquet is fresh berry pie. My palate aeration of this wine is very smooth with no harsh alcohol nose burn - its my own thing I learned from Maximilian Riedel. The initial palate is raspberry and a huge spice attack. There is oak in the long finish with a buttery chocolate smoothness that quickly turns into a dry finish leaving you thirsty for more!!!!! I love it. This is almost to good to drink with food, but a big thick ribeye would explode with flavor following this one. I just wish it were cheaper. — 9 years ago
I can't name any other white wine producer anywhere in the world that would top @Jean-Marc Roulot for me right now. This wine is so elegant, so finessed, it's waltzing on the palate. Sensual, confident and mysterious at times — I couldn't wish for more. — 9 years ago
Drink this now for instant gratification. Wish I let it decant longer than I did — 10 years ago

Crunchy wet leaves, raspberry compote, bell pepper, jalapeno, tobacco. Classic Chinon. Wish I could get more of this. — 8 years ago
Decanted for 1.5 hours. Really tasting well right now. Wish I had more to try over the next few years. — 9 years ago
Light straw color. Floral nose with sweet apricot and white flower note. Rich and glycerol in the mouth. Some acidity but this is very fruit forward today. Needs to shed its baby fat. — 9 years ago
Light savory sweet strawberry confection. Wish I had more today — 9 years ago
Great nose on this vintage. Bright and happy with great acidity and delicate tannins. Spicy stewed dark cherry fruit. Wish I would've waited longer for it to open up a little more, but I couldn't wait!!! — 10 years ago

A very good beer that is extremely floral, appropriately. — 8 years ago
Fine line ghost peach color. Short toasted nose with a beautiful fresh strawberry palate dancing into a memory ( like biting into a red delicious Washington Apple, over plump and perfect, on a country side road) : A Structured, elegant rose, with razor wire nerve: Wish I'd had another bottle — 8 years ago
Brambly red berry fruits. High acid and untamed, a wild expression of #pinotnoir #nzwine — 8 years ago
Its funky and fruity and delicious #theproperpour — 9 years ago
Really good stuff. Got better and better. 2 hours in we were done but wish we had another bottle to see how it tasted in another hour or more. Smooth. Rich. Held up extremely well. — 10 years ago
Thanks to a good cork, still alive, with a super bouquet, although a bit faded in the mouth. Wish I was in as good shape! — 10 years ago
Amazing smooth and full wine. Wish I had more — 11 years ago

Christmas present to ourselves! This Is a fine, mature wine from a ripe year. Not as overripe as some, not yet drying out, makes one wish for a cellarful of oldies to drink every day! — 7 years ago
