A touch too tart with little of the raspberries coming through — 10 years ago
Tasty Greek wine. I've bought twice. Especially delicious with cheese and fruit :) — 10 years ago
Older than me, but not as wise as me. Delicious. — 11 years ago

Surprisingly great blend for $30! Syrah, merlot and 70% cab. — 12 years ago
This wine is simple brilliant and ready to drink! The nose leads with hints of bright red fruits then quickly transitions to an earthy smell ripe with fresh rain. Tastes of subtle dark fruit, followed by mild tannins, with a lush mineral finish. We are pairing with mussels braised in a tomato confit, glazed pork belly, and classic steak and potatoes. This wine is certainly a top hit!!! — 10 years ago
Too young, though currently it has plum, cola, spice, some intermittent funk, plum, sandalwood, a complex bouquet of aromas and flavors. Texture wise the tannins are pretty interense now, so they need to (should) resolve. #lapaulee #athome — 10 years ago
2011 (why doesn't Delectable allow me to choose one somewhere?) Much more interesting than could be guessed from its modest price. — 11 years ago

Syrah, petite Syrah, & merlot blend; super good, very smooth, great flavor, all around nice red wine — 11 years ago
Had this one before, very good. Great complex flavor, "cool" wine (temperature taste wise). — 12 years ago
A wine worth writing about. A hearty but delicate Pinot with dark rich berries. It's an underground all star. — 10 years ago
If the '07 is the wise old man, this is the early-40s cougar. Lively on the front, saucy. A lot going on, confident. Will enter round, sage wisdom in a few years (post-menopause?). — 10 years ago
My 4th bottle, the best and my last, this absolutely killed it and is why I love Napa Valley Cabernet, especially #Spottswoode. 12 years old this easily has another 10 to go but is in a beautiful place right now. Open or decant for 30 minutes, though I did not decant. A deep resold color, not a sign of brick as one would expect. Shows the importance of provenance (bought from winery). A complex set or aromas and flavors of creme d'cassis, currants, sweet and sour cherries, sweet cedar, and graphite. Palate wise the textures are all in alignment, with medium to full body, ample acidity and medium grain slightly chewy tannins that may be it's only flaw. #2002 — 10 years ago
Surprising wine, great deal price-wise👍 — 11 years ago
