2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 8 years ago
The lads at Fort Point in San Francisco were a keg only, pub distribution operation. They just started canning their excellent line of beers. Check them out! The KSA is light, crisp, and lush all at the same time. Giddy up! — 8 years ago

The light yellow '12 Charles Smith Riesling 'Kung Fu Girl' blows away the competition for this entry-level price point. Crisp aromatics, with a corresponding flavor profile, of white peach, lemony citrus, lychee and wet stone. Slightly sweet, but with a zippy acidity that keeps it clean and focused. Immensely drinkable! — 10 years ago
This is turning out to be a great vintage for Justin. Let it open up a little bit and it’s extraordinary for the price point. Coming out of a half bottle, because the winery hasn’t released the 750’s yet. Shows wonderful complex fruit with ample tannic structure. Not much acidity going on, but will be a great vintage to drink now. Haven’t seen as good as a vintage as the 2017, since the 2013 vintage. — 5 years ago
Fabulous blend, fruity with notes of plum, blackberry, and vanilla. Smooth but lively and present beginning, with an earthy finish that paints the palate dry. Let it open up for a few minutes before diving in. — 7 years ago

Future tasting of the 13 Insignia. Super bright fresh fruit. Blackberries, creamy raspberries, blueberries, ollie berry, vanilla toasted barrel, crush rocks and nice mineral finish. Very fruit driven at this point. This will cellar a long time and be spectacular in 20 plus years. — 9 years ago
One of the Best IPA's on the Planet gets brewed with Grapefruit Juice, and is Freakin Awesome, Outstanding, Southern CA offering only at this time, so hard to find if you are not here in Southern CA, This takes Sculpin and brings in up a notch or 2, So Great!!' — 9 years ago

Interesting comparison between the Fulldraw and Tynan wine. Both were opened about 2hrs. The flavor profile is somewhat similar between the two, showing chocolate and dark blue fruit for the Tynan and red fruit for the Fulldraw. Great spice and pepper with each. The main difference is with the tannins and finish. The tannins on the Tynan are fairly noticeable (in addition to some heat) while the Hard Point’s are already integrated. The finish on the Hard Point is incredibly long and luxurious. @Connor McMahon exceptional wine — 5 years ago
Beautiful color; minimal sediment. Consistent with online notes, but seemingly mishandled at some point; flat but with moments of beauty. — 7 years ago
