Thank you @Lee Lightfoot a stunning cab. Towering example of great cab hitting all the right spots with a 42oz ribeye. Dark blue black color. Aromas of camphor, cherry liquor, rose petals and graphite. This wine is kicking ass... it's not everyday I want a big Napa cab but with this kind of balance and class, why not? — 7 years ago
I like everything Merry Edwards and this was not an exception. First time trying and hit all the right spots. Honeyed fruit without being cloying or too heavy. I'll get this again and more than one. — 8 years ago
Just hitting me on all the right spots today.... — 9 years ago
Juicy and brambly. It's complex, hits a number of sweet spots, and yet somehow (despite its pricetag) doesn't seem destined for anything more than "everyday" status. Or does it? Screw it, I'm gonna marry Blaufrankisch. — 9 years ago
In love with Shiraz ever since having it on my Emirates flights. — 9 years ago
Fresh, clean Chardonnay - enjoying on the deck with the winemaker, Daniel LeFrancois - — 10 years ago
My absolute favorite at the moment. Hits all the right spots, mmm mmm mmm. — 10 years ago
An absolutely brilliant evening at one of the best hole in the wall spots in all of Fort Worth, Nonna Tata. The Italian food is out of this world good, and if you can get there in time (which we luckily did) the patio is perfect for this weather!
To celebrate one of my best friend's coming first child, Kevin and I met up and I wanted to supply the wine as I know he's a Gargiulo fan. Funny thing is, I'd never had Gargiulo, but thanks to @Martin G Rivard , I had one of these bad boys to open! Martin told me to not worry about the vintage and trust him as it's a killer wine. He. Was. RIGHT. Wow. After about an hour and a half of being open, this was so incredibly supple. Dark purple and almost black in the glass. Blackberries and raspberries on the nose...faint hint of pepper. Absolutely perfectly balanced on the palate...blackberry pie, blackberry preserves, plum, red and black licorice on the palate. This is so delicious now, but in 3-4 years, this will be absolutely divine. Up there with Red Cap in best wines of 2011. Thank you, Martin! — 7 years ago
@Mike R @David L @Joe Lucca @Ron R @Paul T The WOTN was a beauty so generously given to me by my Bud Paul Treadway! Thanks Paul!!! The tasting notes between the Beau Vigne Estate and Morlet's Coeur de Vallee are eerily similar. The true differentiation between the 2 is Morlet's seem less integration at this time. My buddy Kirk @Kirk Alexander always says "The test of a great wine is when nothing jumps out at you". This particular bottle did just that. Every person this evening commented on the fact that it was such a superbly balanced wine. It was dialed back ever so slightly in all the right spots for it to dance on your palate effortlessly.
Thank you Paul for a stellar bottle!!
It was enjoyed by friends outdoors on this beautiful S FL cool night. What else could one ask for?

Despite its modest price I really enjoyed this as a first course wine. Notes of lime, bruised green apple and minerality on the nose softened with time and green vegetal notes took up their spots. The palate was dry but had a nice finish. Very nicely done. — 9 years ago
My first full-fledged glass of wine post antibiotics/illness. Xavier's Chenin hits all the right spots. — 10 years ago
8 year old fino. A touch of oxidation. Flor has digested more of the nutrients in the wine and while the floe is alive some spots are exposed to air — 11 years ago
THE BEST red wine I had in years... wait let me taste it again... 🍷balanced... fruity but fry... easy to drink... hits all the spots without even trying 💕🌏 — 7 years ago
2014. I'm glad I have a few more bottles of this. My first impression was that there was too much oak but… I think I was wrong about that. I believe I just opened this one way too soon. This wine has all the tools for the long distance: fruit, acid, structure, and concentration. Right now it has delightful texture but it's a little bit awkward in spots. That is, I realize, just youthful exuberance. This complex chardonnay is going to be ready for its close-up at some point. But not right now. Give it a few years. You both deserve it. — 7 years ago
One of the few off-dry Rieslings I was able to find at my local liquor & wine spots as the rest were toted to be dry or sweet. (Delectable guided me to this bottle.) Loved how it complemented the charcuterie board that my friends and I noshed for dinner. Sweet to my normally red-favoring tongue but a nice follow-up to the Prosecco we started with. — 7 years ago
First good red burg I have had in a while... that's my fault though... it's hitting all the rights spots right now. Nice acidity, ethereal, and yet has a masculine fruity undertone. Nice and herbal. It has hit that tipping point where the secondary flavors are very enjoyable. — 8 years ago
All the right spots = hit. — 8 years ago
Hits all the right spots: overall savory & mountain herbs, if i knew what those were; relatively low alc%; my fantasy weekday wine though @17$. Beautifully balanced. Great producer of higher end Carema. — 8 years ago
Wine Spots Cab, really nice — 9 years ago
Love that darn beer. Left two spots open in my wine case and flew back with it. Glad Griff had the idea. — 9 years ago
Sweet when it goes in, very little sour taste, good wine — 10 years ago
One of the few Pinot Noir's I like. Need to buy again. — 10 years ago

To celebrate our 2-yr wedding anniversary while in Alaska, we had 5-course dinner at one of the premier spots in the state, which just so happened to be at our resort (at the top of the mountain). A Wine Spectator recognized restaurant with an incredible wine list!
Stark contrast between the last wine and this. Much more flint/rock, white flower, almond shavings on the nose. Higher viscosity on the palate, and it had a great texture. Lingering finish. — 7 years ago
