Somehow, I found this 15 year old Shiraz on the "everyday" side of my wine "area" in the basement. I have no clue where it came from...a gift? Knowing not what to expect, but concerned it might be beyond rescue, we opened it. Turns out, it was not only still drinkable, but quite delicious. Probably should have put it on the "nicer" side of my area. Great surprise. — 9 years ago
This is delish. Full flavour at the front with a soft finish. Not as dry as most reds—a bit on the sweeter side. — 9 years ago
Great floral nose with a finish showing big, dark berries and pepper. A great young syrah characteristic of Adelaida and the West Side. — 10 years ago
Pine, hoppy, hoppy, hoppy and a touch skunk but great with Sichuan! — 10 years ago

Alfred Eames was born & raised in Spain. He is an excellent wine maker that lives in Paonia CO. In my opinion this is one of his best wines! — 10 years ago
From an A+ vineyard, on the St. Aubin side of the Montrachet hill. Next to the Chevalier Montrachet parcel, but with a different exposure (south-west instead of south-east). Energetic Burgundy from a rising star domaine (especially since son Olivier took over in 1995). — 10 years ago

Super balanced, on the lean side of meduim, showing great strength in acidity and tannins. Firm but also open. Nice. — 11 years ago
Finally got some west coast love in New Orleans. Lagunitas & Green Flash available! This tastes like an Asian summer with mandarin-tangerine / flowery profile. — 11 years ago

Wow. This is great. It's obviously on the sweeter side but balances with a great sour and what I assume is a block of melted butter. Strongly recommend pairing with west coast oysters. — 9 years ago
West side rheingau 👐 Showed elegance and structure. No signs of slowing down. Great value and a great wine — 9 years ago

A sessionable IPA - checking Kentucky off my list! — 10 years ago
If the clusters are grown from vines that survived phylloxera and are completely un grafted you can bet you will be experiencing a unique treasure. Better yet, this is carignano from Sant Antioco... A little extension from the mainland of sardegna floating on the south west side of things. Unfiltered for her pleasure. Righteous bush vines creating A rustic, Mediterranean herb sort of grape juice. — 11 years ago
The best beer this brewery has put out, so far, all their beers are very good, this one is excellent, in the style of a double west coast IPA, four different hops, and a perfect balance of a big malt backbone, very impressed, last year only on tap, now in 12oz 4 packs, — 11 years ago
