Perfekt sommervin! — 9 years ago
Yessss. Zip, sweet fruit, mineral, long and tightly wound. For the long term. — 9 years ago
Expressive nose, showcasing honeyed pineapples, vanilla and exotic spice notes, beautifully flowing to an expansive palate where acidity is maintained and the purity of fruit lovely. Sadly it's short and abruptly cut off, but still - considering the vintage- well done. — 9 years ago
Totally didn't put this in Germany in blind tasting, seemed much riper. — 10 years ago
Sweet with high intensity. Honey. Mango. Pineapple. Slightly toasty and mineral. Long finish. Very good quality! — 10 years ago

Certified Ripper. An incredible value and one of the more mineral-driven wines I’ve tasted from the charming and delicate 2016 vintage. They achieved a concentration with Sonnenlay that I haven’t found in a lot of 2016 Kabinett wines thus far. Intensely floral and beautiful wine that shimmers with minerality, lime blossoms, apricot and a touch of petrol. Highly invigorating and charming wine with piercing aromatics and intense flavors. — 7 years ago
Flabby mid palette. Otherwise killer. — 8 years ago
2015. Hoccheimer holle TBA 2015. dry, acidity, mneral flavor. Perfectly balanced among acid and sweetness. 20. 283g sugar, 11.7 acidity level. 20 — 9 years ago
Perfect base pairing at Mugaritz! — 9 years ago
Unreal fruit and depth. Color and residues sugar indicate to me this was likely a declassified auslese. The fruit and minerality went on and on. I fully expect this wine will go another ten to fifteen years at least. — 9 years ago
Very aromatic on the nose. Funk on the palette. — 10 years ago
Nice way to honor Germany's World Cup victory. Extremely complex and joyfully full of contrariness; it's dry yet rich, delicate yet powerful. Lemons and sulphur, ending with grapefruit. Probably at peak maturity now, but I wish I had a few more bottles in the cellar to see how (or if) it evolves further. — 11 years ago
1997. I don’t have a lot of experience with older Rieslings, and this got better with each drink. So, I’m not sure if I got to the sweet spot for this wine... — 6 years ago
Minerally and on the lush side. — 7 years ago
Even tho it's written - dry on the bottle but there is a nice sweetness in this wine. Floral aromas. Low acidity and body. — 8 years ago
Acidic sweet citrus viscous mineral — 8 years ago
Very grape typical with a fantastic aroma. Not at all powerful but with nuanced flavors and an exclusive feel together with mild to moderate tannins. One of the better pinots I've tried. — 9 years ago
Suitcase wine. Thanks Nelson. — 9 years ago
This 2013 Riesling Auslese was delicious! Sweet but not too thick on the mouth feel. It kept its acidity and kept its flavor characteristics with a bit of honey/caramel added to it. 👍🏽🍷 — 10 years ago
Love this so much- — 10 years ago
