Kerosene, butterschnaps, nicely aged but the palate is starting to fall over, a year or two too late.

Nice way to honor Germany's World Cup victory. Extremely complex and joyfully full of contrariness; it's dry yet rich, delicate yet powerful. Lemons and sulphur, ending with grapefruit. Probably at peak maturity now, but I wish I had a few more bottles in the cellar to see how (or if) it evolves further.
