Animal and deep soul. Weir impressed again #faretheewell — 10 years ago
Incredibly smooth for such a young wine. Fantastic nose. Other than the Weir, this is Talisman's best work. — 10 years ago
Lots of bottle to bottle variation, but this one was dark, forest floor, dried black cherries... — 10 years ago
Very easy drinking! — 11 years ago
Yeah! Fabulous zin! Raisin, soft cherry and leathery. Bold with subtle tannin. — 11 years ago
I loved the cherry fruit and the tobacco-y tannins. Very nice Niagara wine. — 9 years ago

So last night we fired up the BBQ for some lemon thyme chicken so I grabbed this Mike Weir 2011 Crash Rosé from the off-site cellar. The color is a blush orange with hints of pink. The nose was soft and flavors included strawberry. The winemaker's note indicate that it's 100% Cab Franc, an unusual rosé to be sure. Enjoyable though! — 10 years ago
Something a little different as an aperitif before heading out to eat oysters tonight w friends.

This vineyard can do no wrong in whomever's hands the fruit is bestowed. Day 1- Aromatic rock star, with a meek obtuse mouth. Day 2- mouth caught up. Dark, lingering, complex. — 11 years ago
A very special bottle from the family farm, Weir Vineyard. Thankful to have had this bottle shared with moi. 😋 — 9 years ago
The 2009 vintage was great. Subtle with good acidity. I really liked it — 9 years ago
Love all the wines from Weir Vineyard and this is no exception. — 10 years ago
Weir vineyard 2009.; Yorkville Highlands, Mendocino County. Red and black currants, saffron, beautiful. World-class Pinot! "Eccentric clones" says the label, also high elevation near the coast. Concentrated but elegant - remarkable. — 11 years ago
Can't get enough of this wine for the price.. On the patio with a bottle of this and hot sunny day, doesn't get much better. — 11 years ago
