Made at Hagafen estate bottled single vineyard 400 case production earnie weir started winery in 1979. Best of show white peaches a note of petrol and classic Riesling wow great intensity with lots of peach and melon fruit sweet tart with a dry finish a note of petrol finish 50+ most excellent and this is kosher! — 13 years ago

So last night we fired up the BBQ for some lemon thyme chicken so I grabbed this Mike Weir 2011 Crash Rosé from the off-site cellar. The color is a blush orange with hints of pink. The nose was soft and flavors included strawberry. The winemaker's note indicate that it's 100% Cab Franc, an unusual rosé to be sure. Enjoyable though! — 11 years ago
