Wow, the acidity took me places! The nose is pretty clear and quiet: stones. I agree with Chaad; the palate is bitter with fruit like lemons and riper stuff, and the texture feels creamy. Most of all, I liked how the acidity came, went, and returned: waves, arcs, and angles. — 10 years ago

Drank on 1 Jun 2017 in Wien @ Walter Bauer. Excellent balance of acidity, sweetness and minerality, outstanding value — 9 years ago
Rich, slightly spicy nose with candied white peach and apricot nose. Rich, spicy and dry on the palate. Juicy citrus upfront leads to oaky and earthy notes, but extremely clean. The finish is long, dry and slightly creamy with big, bright acidity. — 10 years ago
Lots of crunchy tart lemon and yellow grapefruit. Nice minerality and restrained alcohol at 12.5%. Great value. 2013 vintage. — 11 years ago

Ten generations of specialty in Grüner Veltliner in a glass, finally exported to the US after 300 years. Citric and somewhat cheesy complexity on the palate, disappearing without any heaviness or richness after a long, satisfying finish. Refreshing and drinkable. — 10 years ago
