My first go at Roter Veltliner. Dry with lots of tropical fruit & spice accents. Vibrant, bright acidity. This “Privat” bottling is their top bottling for a great 2022 vintage. Really interesting wine. Rubbery and lime-peel like a Riesling, but with the yeasty/creaminess of Burgundy. Who knew? — 8 years ago
