Amber and orange in the glass. Nose is a tad shy or mute, but on the palate this very, very tasty. Lovely nuances of apple syrup and grilled peaches, unctuous and suave. And although it lacks the laserlike focus and penetration that Riesling TBAs often show, it has a wonderful freshness and is dangerously drinkable. Good stuff!

Second time trying St. Laurent as a grape. Mostly unique to Austria - had a good one on the plane ride over as well. Deep red in the glass. Gives some nice red fruit but also a bit more oak than I’d prefer on the nose. But with some air that somewhat blows off. Nice and medium bodied with good acid, minerality, and spice on the finish. — 4 years ago
