Approachable Austrian piney liqueur — 8 years ago
2013 vintage. This one is about as good as it gets. Wonderful nose with plum , cherry, and floral hints - blueberry? Beautiful balance on the palate. Minerals and oak. Lingering finish- wish I had bought more than a case. — 9 years ago

Really nicely integrated at this time. Dark full stewed fruits with a longer finish. Nice. — 10 years ago
Recommend a 2+ hr decant. Beautiful nose of black cherry and dark fruits leading into the typical grip and tannin of 86. This is still young in color and on the palette. Has a steely austerity with some nice fruit and secondary characteristics of pine and cedar starting to show. Prob needs another 3-4years to soften the finish but drinking well. 93pts — 11 years ago

Smooth. Soft. Beautiful. — 8 years ago
Heavier tannins – nice. Velvety. Tobacco, leather, earthy blueberries. Long finish making me want more, more, more. This is a repeat. — 8 years ago
Drinking great after all these years. The fruit is holding up, plus nice cinnamon and nutmeg. — 9 years ago

Big and fruity! Great bottle... — 12 years ago
Absolutely delicious. Prefect pair for grilled pork, similar to a dryer Zinfandel. Reasonably full bodied but not so big as to demand a big steak. — 8 years ago
Nice smooth dark berries and a hint of tobacco. — 8 years ago

Nice balance. Nice flavors of spice, cola and dried fruit. Medium bodied. — 9 years ago
It definitely needs time to breathe but is very good! — 9 years ago
Notes of eucalyptus, juniper berries, pink peppercorn and grapefruit on the nose with an initial taste of sour cherries. Tastes like you drank an entire pine forest with lemon balm, sorrel and manure compost. A bit tannic. This made me a convert finally to Beaujolais. — 10 years ago
Light for cab but really good — 11 years ago

Blend that's more fruit forward. But acid does hold. Well balanced. Enjoyed. As the Jets lose again I contemplate how my football life would have been with Brady and the pats. — 8 years ago
