This was ridiculously good. Had it with our Chinese New Year dinner of chicken, duck, seafood, etc and it went well with everything. Full bodied, well integrated, just really rich and wonderful. Might be the best NZ wine I've ever had. — 7 years ago

Nice smooth body 😉.
Jokes aside was shocked how good this Syrah is. Full bodied, chocolate covered in cherries (yes that way around) with a hint of cherries covered in chocolate mixed in with some plums (tastes like ripen in plum barrels?). Good intensity!
Goes well with spicy food , it stands it's ground in regards to density and volume. And taste. love it!

Very good with a spatchcock chicken and potatoes. Perfect companion with nice acidity and nice floral, long finish highlighted the full flavor of the unbelievable gravy — 7 years ago
Not usually a Syrah fan, but this was delicious. Lots of smoke and fruit with this wine, and a nice, long, complex finish. Would be a an excellent food wine, but we obviously enjoyed solo. — 7 years ago
