This wine is quite an experience, intellectual. Bera has been ever since my favourite Moscato producer, and here those varietal aromatics evolve into something extremely complex. Resting under flor for sixteen years is something that makes this wine unique. It's fresh, vegetal, herbal, floral, bone dry and very deep. Meditative. Really well balanced with lots of fruit and a touch of spice on the nose. Wine did well with pasta and paired well with the cheese at the end of the meal. Good finish that seemed to improve after a couple hours of breathing. — 9 years ago

This was terrific. Dark ruby red color. Very structured with softening tannins. Strawberries and leather on the nose. Cherries and smoke on the palate. I struggled with what to pair it with, initially trying it with pasta, which the wine overpowered. It really finally clicked with hamburgers. — 8 years ago

Extraordinary! Don't underestimate Moscato when it is left alone in a barrel under the stairs in the vineyard cellar for 20 years. Might of guessed sherry, or rancio, truly unique. — 9 years ago
