Really good. Light, refreshing, easy-drinking — 6 years ago
Wait, what? Southern Oregon...where’s that, and how did they come to make such amazing white wines? The sock puppet has questions. Voluptuous density with amazing balance of floral, spice, and tropical fruit notes. Gonna have to look into this Muscat thing... — 8 years ago
Had with oysters and was divine. Great lees undertone and extremely aromatic, hitting all the right notes. Well played, sir. — 9 years ago
Apricot, honeysuckle, good acidity. Good bang for the buck. — 12 years ago
This is just a fabulous blend! Let it open up & it gets even better. — 5 years ago
Fresh. Have been drinking older vintages which seem to be in “dumb” phases. This is hitting on all cylinders. — 5 years ago
A beautiful Condrieu! Very floral and mineral. Honeysuckle and fresh grass, lovely legs and an oily appearance, but it’s light and spicy at the finish. Perfect for summer and paired with fish or Asian food. — 6 years ago
Smells kind of like... Wax, I suppose and mild oak.
Tastes big. Dark berries, nice round tanins with a mild finish. — 9 years ago
Delicious. Highly recommend. — 11 years ago
Enormous oak. Hard to believe this is 16 years old. Plenty of life. — 12 years ago
Golden colour in the glass. Tropical fruit nose of pineapple, banana, wet stone, vanilla, oak, toasted nuts. Palate confirms this with pineapple/banana notes, medium acidity, long finish. Overall, beautiful rich white, taste almost reminds me of a fruit cup you'd eat in elementary school... in a good way! — 5 years ago
Very nice, smooth. Dark fruits spicy finish — 5 years ago
Love this wine year after year, vintage after vintage, you can really taste the viognier and rousanne! — 6 years ago
White peaches, good sour sweet, lovely mouthfeel, refreshing, some candy/butter but subtle — 9 years ago
Revisiting this one. We are picking up apricot and some slate-like minerals on the nose. Great tastes of peaches, apricot and red apple with a fantastic mouthfeel. Pairing very well with my blackened snapper and Lisa's Chicken Spinach salad. Very nice wine. — 10 years ago
Aravind A
Pop and pour. Notes from 4 hrs open. On the nose: freshly cut honeysuckle, then loads of flowers, mint, soft honey and wet stone. On the palate: excellent acidity, wet stone, ginger, medicinal herbs, fantastic density. Better than my last btl...definitely one of my condrieu standards. Yum! — 4 years ago
