Très bon meursault bien sec et assez long — 6 months ago
2022 vintage. Not quite as integrated as the same vintage Meursault VV offering. This has more overt focus on citrus fruit currently. Feel like this wine just needs 6 months to tie up some loose ends and then it'll be a no-brainer. That citrus fruit will still feature, just not as prominently. 05.23.25. — 7 months ago
Dancer’s Perrieres vines are sandwiched in between the great Roulot and Lafon, and his 2013 Perrieres is a stunner. There is so much depth to this wine and it’s about so much more than just reduction. It’s detailed, complex and layered with yellow fruit and stony minerals with superb density and inner mouth tension. It’s powerful and intense but its weight is so lifted and the freshness of the vintage keeps it impeccably well balanced. There is a line of pulsating acidity and exhilarating energy on the palate that leads to an explosively long finale. — 4 years ago
Lovely and aging well. Very smooth and bright with cherry notes but not overly so. Earthly and interesting but still light. — 5 years ago

Nice on day 2 — 10 years ago
Good vintage despite the early oxidative tendencies of the whites. This one sure showed that, but it still had bright structure and that full Combettes texture. Solid wine. — 12 years ago
Good but very cherry. — 7 months ago
17. As it should be, but not more. Hope next bottle more exciting. — 7 months ago

Good and very cherry but not as much as some other younger wines. Not sure if I like this more than the other higher end petite sirahs of theirs. — 5 years ago

From one of the absolute best sites in Chassagne, the ‘22 vintage and third vintage from Theo Dancer is expectedly superb, and the sunny and impeccably located La Romanée vineyard is profoundly textural, satiny and incisive with a particularly citrusy profile with freshly baked bread and chalky minerality. This is of course, still very young and is without a doubt built to age. — 5 months ago
