Light and airy - delicious — 4 years ago
Good and very cherry but not as much as some other younger wines. Not sure if I like this more than the other higher end petite sirahs of theirs. — 4 years ago
Interesting expression here, quite front-loaded with oak, but very exotic and floral on the finish. White flowers and passion fruit. Very unique. A delicate, detailed style — 6 years ago
Super bright. White blossom. Saturated minerality. Classy oak. — 8 years ago

Great stone fruit flavors. Touch of oak on the finish — 9 years ago
Great example of a renowned wine maker taking village level seriously - because his name is on the label. — 9 years ago
Baked apples and honey for days. Clocks in 20 g/L RS, but the acid on that finish won't tell you so. — 10 years ago
Fresh and lively. So good with lamb. Very pure fruit. This is too young, but still approachable. — 10 years ago
”Super premier cru” Tête du Clos is sourced from an old vine parcel in the upper part of Morgeot. Kind of like Chapelot of MDT. Just like the bottle I had in September, it’s electric tonight with killer yellow fruit intensity, a stunningly elegant texture, stony minerality and ripping citrusy acids. There’s such tension and drive on the palate that takes the fruit and minerality all the way home. Love these wines. — 2 years ago
2015, too complex for me. I understand you love this. — 3 years ago
Sour cherry, earth, minerality, sassafras, dried flowers and nice acid. — 4 years ago

Pours mahogany in color. ON THE NOSE: blackberry, plum, cola. ON THE PALATE: tingles the palate, great tannin backbone. Earth, leather, plum. Medium body long finish. — 9 years ago

2002 vintage. Decanted and tasted throughout the course of 3 hours. A trace of sediment. Still fairly dark on the color. Good fill, good cork. Light-medium body. Nose had an aggressive orange zest/dried orange peel mixed with cinnamon and cherry nose for two hours that infiltrated the flavor profile. Eventually, a bit of cranberry and raspberry emerged as the prominent movers and shakers. Initially thought the wine to be a 9.0 but prettied up to a 9.1. Could just be "in transition" or not a top-notch bottle. Seemed to be potentially holding something back and got the feeling another bottle might show a little better. 12.9.23. — a year ago
