Crisp and dry, but not bitter. Phenomenal with food, this time, with Continental Breakfast. Happy Monaco F1 Day (and go Rosberg!) — 10 years ago

Oh my goodness. I am thrilled that I held onto this incredible #vouvray - if you have this #LoireValley gem, I suggest that you drink it now cause it is drinking beautifully! Sweet ripened pear, orange blossom, apple and lime with hints of smoke and a bit of nuttiness. A lush, silky, smooth mouthfeel bursts mid-palate with vibrant acidity that melds into chalky minerality and a lovely, balanced finish. I'm drinking it with this farm to fork rustic creamy angel hair pasta made with a blended sauce of honey chèvre, olive oil, pepper, toasted walnuts, loads of arugula and chives. The rustic-ness of the pasta with the nutty, chalky minerality of the wine is heavenly. — 9 years ago
Light bodied. Clean, chocolate, tobacco, and green pepper notes. Solid find from Provence, recommended by Somm who represents Monaco at world championships. — 10 years ago
Bae bought this and says "this is delicious". This is delicious ... And we plan to buy citizenship in Monaco ASAP. — 11 years ago

Like grape juice. Finishes sweet — 12 years ago
Provenance is everything. Wonderful bottle with the floral elegant nose you expect from mature Margaux. In company was the wine direct of Alain ducasse in Monaco who said he'd never had as good a bottle of this in France! From a cellar where it never moved for 35 years. Really lovely surprise. — 9 years ago

Mineral with peach and mango fruity taste perfect for Thai food at @MayaBay in #Monaco. A great value for money as this by the German @EgonMuller owned wine is half the price of the good #Alsace and German #Rieslings — 12 years ago
Very sweet — 12 years ago

Not cheap but a masterful Bordeaux blend we enjoyed in Monaco. Had this at a heat restaurant with lots of beef. Perfect match. Tannins didn't dominate too much and fruit was all dark cherry and the natural chocolate. — 8 years ago
