This was a transcendent bottle of Rosso. I liked it better than Fonterenza Brunello 2005, and about as much as my other all-time favorite Rosso: 2008 Poggio di Sotto. Big surprise, as I'm not usually such a fan of 2009 in Tuscany. — 11 years ago

1985 Luciano Sandrone Cannubi Boschis Barolo Nebbiolo. Drank at Sotto w K. Should have decanted but didn't have the time. Pruney, raisiny, and super sweet on the nose at first. Almost like a port. But it got much better as the night progressed. Developed more texture and nuance as it opened up. Not our fave, but def fun to try. — 10 years ago
