Central Coast Pinot Noir 2014

Beautiful bloody and transparent shade of red. The aroma reminds me of dry prune or dry ripe/resinated black grape. On the palate, the wine is easy drinking, medium astringency, with balanced red cherry, earthy quality, and spices. Went surprisingly well with our sushi omakase! — 9 years ago

Ol' Hickory Red Table Wine Red Blend

Great taste of summer, but great wine any meal. Try with a winning hand in poker or take to share on the top of a hill with a great view. Balanced , smooth — 13 years ago

Victory Brewing Company

DirtWolf Double IPA

Probably the best IPA/DIPA I've ever had from outside of the West Coast. I'd rank it up there with Ruination, Wolf Among Weeds and Mammoth 395. — 10 years ago

Estate Valley View Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

A friend shared the 2011 bottle. It was delicious. A nice full body with a good amount of tannins, but pretty smooth. I noticed some berry notes. — 10 years ago

Ballast Point Brewing Company

Victory at Sea

Really nice porter. Quite bitter, which I think makes it stand out among many of the syrupy beers of this style. Vanilla but without overwhelming sweetness, like an actual vanilla bean. — 11 years ago

One thing I'll say about this beer is that it's not a bottle of fuckin' sake.

Crater View Vineyard Grenache Blanc 2014

Had the 2013 a while back, and I gotta say the 2014 is slammin'. Well balanced, quenchy, stone fruity, zesty. The force is strong for GB in Oregon. — 10 years ago

Single Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir 2013

Aavery nice everyday wine at this price point. Fruity, not particularly complex. Bright fruit, mostly sour cherry and cranberry, but with an overriding sweetness, so no puckering. — 11 years ago
