Drinking smoothly after being open for 2+ hrs. Bright, clean fruit. Red cherries for days. Very tasty! — 3 years ago
Scent of earth and berries? Nice rounded tannins, bitter jam. — 5 years ago
Excelente, hay que tomarlo. Vino sutil — 6 years ago
The way I choose to re-hydrate after braving the Texas sun for a few hours.
Seemed to evolve into two different wines. Started off mimicking a bone-dry-funky-Sidra, then finished as a baked apple and peachy delight with just a bit of funk wafting through. Loved it. — 7 years ago
I had the 2007 in2016 - ideal. Given the moderate price a really nice wine. — 8 years ago

Finish of apricot. Orange wine but not funky — 2 years ago
We recently pulled some cases out of storage, which haven't seen the light of day for nearly 15 years, so I'll have some fun posts in the next several months.
Nose has split oak firewood (barely seasoned), cigar box, moist cedar shavings, blackberry, dried black currant, dried roses, fresh violets, moist leather, dried lavender dark chocolate powder and graphite pencil shavings.
Palate has chocolate covered blackberry, tarry black cherry, cedar sawdust, dark chocolate bark, prune, anise candy, clay pot and leather. Very long finish, subtle tannins exist still, amazing wine!
Cork pulled, 2h rest, then decanted 6h, a perfect bottle, still young, future bottles may be 2023-30, without concern.

Perfect pair to homemade burgers from a local farmer in Columbia Co. NY (Kinderhook Farm), cooked to a beautiful medium-rare served on toasted brioche burger rolls. — 4 years ago
2012 vintage. Juicy plum, black cherry, black raspberry, leather. Rich and smooth Malbec blend, not too sweet. 14% ABV. — 7 years ago
True to varietal. Leather and spice on the nose. A little tannic but otherwise well balanced. Nice smoke. Priced fairly at $18, but I I'll look for a better value in future. $14 would have been a steal. — 8 years ago
Big oak, lots of dark fruits. Vanilla, cedar box, dried tobacco, and just a hint of coconut. Lots of aggressive tannins. — 9 years ago
For $4.99 what can you expect, well this one is amazingly good — 7 months ago
Deep Ruby with an elegant bouquet of berry fruits, pepper spice with earthy tones, a traditional Rioja, aged 26 months in American (40%) and French (60%) oak. On the palate flavors of plum and sour cherry, tobacco, smoky pepper spice, lively acidity. Fine firm tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, spice and an earthy character. — 9 months ago
Smells like wet leaves (earthy), tastes like tart, cherry candy. — 3 years ago
Some Brett, cinnamon but mixed with a beautiful rustic berry sensation. CO2 dissipates but third time this is delicious so I'm all in 🙏 — 6 years ago
12 July 2017. Verre de Terre, New York, NY. — 7 years ago
Give this a good degassing (a simple shake with your thumb covering the opening will suffice) and this immediately becomes X-factor more awesome. — 8 years ago
