The boys treated me to a little b day champagne — 8 years ago
80% Chardonnay with a splash of Pinot Noir, zero added sulphur. Ripe yellow fruit over toast. Perfect — 8 years ago
Far to many better options at a fraction of the cost, only on someone else's dime. — 8 years ago
Tart and toasty with a smooth mineral finish. An interesting and flavorful grower champagne. And the label is really beautiful. — 9 years ago
Toasty almond and creaminess with lively backbone of cleansing citrus acidity. — 9 years ago
This was spectacular out of mag--toasted nuts, toffee, truffle, rich orchard and tropical fruit, elegant mousse. Thanks so much everyone for a wonderful gift to start off the night! @evie @Diana Cho @Jae Cho @Aby Vanterpool...and Matt D wherever you are! — 10 years ago
5 years ageing, beautiful light colour . Strawberries . Aniseed on finish . Very gd — 11 years ago
Fresh, more of a morning champagne — 6 years ago
Rich and fruity on the middle to drier end... very enjoyable. Love. — 7 years ago
At first clean and young, but quickly shows some age despite being young. Toasted biscuit and anise, coats the mouth with body, and ends fresh. Awesome complexity for a younger wine. If drinking soon I’d put the value of this bottle well above the big name producers. — 7 years ago
Got to take advantage of another Wednesday Wine Committee and boy was it worth it. Wow! Killer wines brought by Glenn for his 60th!
I've now had the 2008 and 2010 back to back in less than a month and I'm sold on this stuff. The fruit in these vintage champagnes, even with age, is so impressive. Granny Smith apple, croissant bun and grilled pear. Killer! — 8 years ago
Crisp & fruity with ultra fine, tiny bubbles. Love the purity. — 8 years ago
Named after the venerable Widow Clicquot herself, La Grande Dame Brut 2006 is a blend of 53% Chardonnay and 47% Pinot Noir. The nose is expressive—bioche dipped in honey, baked apple and a whisp of smoke hanging above richer aromas. The attack is deep and vinous, and there is a lovely creaminess at the center. It finishes nicely, with dried honey and chalk emerging when the bubbles have at last ceased. Tasted at Veuve Clicquot's visitor's center. 8 grams dosage | Sample — 9 years ago
Very crisp & refreshing! Yeast on the nose, crisp pear in front follows to honeysuckle mid-palate that maintains and then ripens to a light caramel through a long finish. Delightful! — 9 years ago
My guest was celebrating her birthday, she wanted something sweet pink and bubbly. Boom first thing that came up vueve. Sold it for $160 my guest loved it.
The wine has a luminous color with radiant rose accents. The nose is elegant and generous, with initial aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry)

Almost like an old red burgundy - delicate, ethereal leather, bacon, roses, tobacco - combined with more typical old champagne notes of orange tart and toffee. Never tasted a champagne quite like this. — 7 years ago
It's the OJ Simpson of sparkling wine. It's not sweet and it makes me want to drive a white bronco at a slow speed. — 8 years ago
For the price point, fantastic. Ignoring price, still a very good bottle — 8 years ago
A good champagne. Dry-grassy color. A deep nose but somewhat of candy. Alive on the tongue with sharpness of flavor and bubbles and a deep almost caramel flavor among the more citrusy flavors. — 8 years ago
A bit too sweet by itself, but was perfect with fois gras. — 10 years ago
Pastry, orange, tiny bubbles. — 11 years ago
