Initial taste felt sweet but then turned very complex and almost spicy. Had a little bit of a burn in the after taste. Very enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Super savory and electric. Fruit? We don't need no stinkin' fruit! 20 days on the skins, and worth every minute. @Chris Broomell — 11 years ago
Vesper martini, cuz we're not that drunk. Nolet's gin (Ketel One) is so key here, please tolerate my diva when I say I just don't drink these without Nolet's. 3 oz. Nolet's gin, 1 oz. Jewel of Russia Ultra vodka (this extravagance can be subbed for decent vodka), 0.5 oz. Lillet Blanc. Shaken, not stirred...the original James Bond martini. — 13 years ago

use this instead of Lillet in a Vesper. Have been told it is closer to the original more bitter notes of Lillet in the Fifties when Ian Fleming created the cocktail. Incredible addition to a classic cocktail. — 10 years ago
Saline, stone fruit, and a little feral Mourvedre edge. Not necessarily a patio pounder, but blossoms with food. Roast chicken anyone? #sandiego #kogodwinemerchant #letstaste10roses — 10 years ago
