Cherries and baking spices. 🍒 Super inky — not for someone who minds stained teeth! 🙊 — 7 years ago
Absolutely sublime red! Little wonder it got awarded South Africa's no.1 red in 2015 at the prestigious Veritas Awards. Rich, fresh fruit tannins with a delicate smoothness that is second to none. Undoubtedly my favourite South African wine. — 8 years ago
Terrific blend. Veritas - very fruity not too heavy. Great for dinner. — 8 years ago
Buttery, rich, wonderful nose. One of my favorite wines. A bit pricey but worth it. — 8 years ago

2009 Outpost True Vineyard Cabernet
An awesome wine. Less fruit forward and more extracted. A dead ringer for a high quality Veritas. Delicious and beguiling. A top notch Cab and one still very much in play. — 7 years ago
Crisp, fresh strawberry and watermelon aromas with just a touch of cranberry. Lively, fresh and fruity on the palate. Flavors of strawberry, watermelon, peach and a touch of citrus are followed by crisp, dry minerality and a bright, acidic backbone. The finish is long and dry with lingering minerality and citrus. — 8 years ago
Veritas is my favorite vineyard in the Charlottesville area. The tasting room is open and comfortable. The grounds offer scenic and pleasing views. For me, the Vintners Reserve is the must have bottle of their selection. — 8 years ago
Good table wine — 8 years ago
May be a hint of cab franc in there. Retains beautiful floral aspects throughout. Zippy red fruit, honeydew melon, and orange peel along side wet gravel and angel food cake. Finishes very dry with lifted acidity. Perfect summertime sparkly from a stunning estate. Celebrating my Fiancée finding her wedding dress tonight! Cheers!

What a wine! Extraordinary deep purple color, great smell on plums and dark fruit, full-bodied, complex multi-layered taste, rather oaky (barrique) and wild, rough tannins, medium plus aftertaste. Powerful, rustical, wild. I like it! But it should be consumed with a rich meal. — 6 years ago
Interesting. Lots of oak and fruit with a smooth velvety finish. Classic Aussie. Probably at its peak but still going strong. Has a few years left in the tank — 7 years ago
Gardenia, perfume, honey and apricot. M- acid, m body. Balanced with a long finish. — 8 years ago
