Blend of 85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, Graciano & Mazuelo, was first wine winery ever produced, aged 18 months in 225L barrels. Deep Ruby color with aromas of fruit, earthy forest floor and woodsy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cedar, tobacco, leather and smoky notes. Fine chalky tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, tobacco, toasty cedar and earthy mineral character. Nice now! Good value! — 9 months ago

Vino mexicano con cuerpo robusto, color rubi intenso y semi turbio con sedimentos en copa. Tánico con notas de roble, vainilla, sotobosque, zarzamora y canela. Por supuesto que tiene sabor salino característico de la región y unas ligeras notas de pimiento verde al final de cada sorbo.

At La Gazzetta Italian restaurant for the second time. The first wine we tried here last time we didn’t like so we tried a different, more expensive one this time. Much better experience by spending a few more Euros…22.50€ on the wine list but the only charged us 18.50€ because we told them we didn’t like their 18.50€ wine. After 39 years, this wine still has held up well. Typical Rioja Tempranillo grapes with tobacco, leather and black fruit to the nose. Oaky. Almost no tannins and still balanced.
