Opened this up on our last night at Riviera Maya. I thoroughly enjoy drinking wines from the nation or state we travel in. This happens to also be one of my new favorites. Earth tones, tobacco, leather, blackberry and more on the nose. Multiple layers and yet this has a relative softness on the finish that speaks to the age and blend. Highly recommend and as a side note - worth visiting the winery in Ensenada for the full experience. — 7 years ago
Merlot driven Bordeaux blend on French oak. Comes out pretty classic, but with prominent oak spice on the nose. Long finish of dark fruit. — 8 years ago

2009 Guadalupe Valley (mejico senor east of Ensenada) cab blend 68% merlot and and cab franc. Soft, e-z, NOT ur power Napa Rousey drink. 6 yrs in it is peaking. — 11 years ago
Amazing Cab, an authentic jewel from Valle de Guadalupe. Deep purple color, super expressive nose from the start, at first with lots of alcohol but evolved very nicely into red fruit jam and caramel. Very lactic. Very elegant in the palate, silky tannin and the tipical saline aftertaste from Ensenada. I hope I can find some more bottles to enjoy it again. — 7 years ago
