Truly delicious full bodied red with a beautiful mix of spicy and fruity notes. A repeat buy almost immediately. Drank with a homemade meal of turkey meatballs. — 5 years ago
Super jammy wonderful wine! — 6 years ago
Colour: almost no transparency, dark red, violet.
Nose: quite ripe and concentrated nose of red and black fruit (raspberry, red/black cherries, plums), notes of violet and red pepper, old wood bark, pine wood, vanilla, Mediterranean spices, bay leaves.
Palate: medium body, moderate acidity (not a lot), quite warm at the palate but not too much. Red fruit coming through (raspberry, red cherries), tannins quite evident, and quite strong, wool-like tannins and astringency. Rustic feeling. More astringent in the finish. — 7 years ago

One of my favorite sweet wines. Cheap, running $9.80 at any Military Class Six, it has a slightly lower alcohol content at about 7.8%. It is partly carbonated — 10 years ago

I loved this! Scents of cherry and leather, spice and eucalyptus. Notes of ripe fruit and licorice. Delicious and complex. Juicy and vibrant! — 5 years ago
Nero di troia blended with local varietals.
Distinct, yet difficult-to- describe taste. Sour cherries, medium tannins, medium body, not dry. The finish is moderate.

Focuses nose of sweet strawberry, cinamon, cocoa, spice, cherry and spearmint. Beautifully delicate and nuanced with less fruit and more savory notes of spice, decaying leaf, and big spearmint notes. Awesome with lamb! — 9 years ago
Red currants, big tannins - surprisingly young fruit despite the age — 10 years ago
