My favorite producer who makes awesome wines from unsung vineyards in Burgundy. Perfumed nose roses/cranberry juice blend. Much heavier then the Nuits Saint George. Another grape I don't know much about (Pallagrello Nero). The wine is a lot racier and loud than I was expecting (especially given it was retailing for less than 20 usd). But the flavors seem more floral/rose-petaly/spicy/clovey rather than fruity/chocolate/vanilla. Lot of tannin. I chose the wrong dinner to make. This wine is going to curb stomp my pasta.
