Super Tuscan made in Mendocino! Perfect for bologna — 10 years ago
Pretty bottle, needs a few more years. Uber classic with exactly what you'd expect: pencil shavings/graphite, cassis, rich leather, potting soil, green peppercorn.... — 10 years ago
Uber ripe with some developed flavors, but as unicorns go I'd rather catch a glimpse of this one then try and capture another — 11 years ago
Bone dry and uber clean. All 2011 juice and showing it - too young. Medium qualities all very balanced and precise. Can't wait to see this is 10 years. — 11 years ago
Dark and uber spicy. Nice length and intensity. — 11 years ago
Everything that I like is here: it's super-crisp, very dry, uber fresh and amazibgly delucious. — 12 years ago
Smokey, meaty, underbrushy. Uber-cool and very #Nebbiolo-true! #Australia #YarraValley — 10 years ago
Uber dark fruit with some spice and then a boat load of volcanic mineral. — 10 years ago
Musky, dark cherry plus spice infused forest yet barrel-tinged nose enhancing one's first-blush swig offering a velvety trickle down the throat:). Second swig poured over a mouthful of oyster mushrooms white cheddar fondue, garlic gastrique... Oh so fine, thanks be to the team at Terrapin, in VA Bch, VA. Hanging at the bar getting uber good service from groovy Erica, who gives you plenty of room to breath yet meeting one's every dining need. All so cool! If in VA Bch, hit it!! If eating these mushroom oysters in the wash of this wine, then chill and dig it cause it's the good stuff..:)! — 11 years ago
Excellent Trappist. Belgium uber alle!! — 10 years ago
100% Syrah, with about 10% new oak. Ripe, evidence of new oak. A polished style. Oaky, quite a Ribera style. Creamy, oaky, vanilla. Uber appealing now, but not a little my haul style — 10 years ago
Awesome. Uber organic. Just like that purple one. Decant that bitch — 11 years ago
Uber peppery - just wish I could get it in the US — 11 years ago
Italian wine gifted by an importer I picked up on uber — 11 years ago
Exactly what I wanted this to be- funky, feral, cab franc- bret-y, barnyard, and grassy, with a deep berry core. Was perfect from a 2001 magnum at an outdoor brunch on a warm CA day. Uber-natural winemaking, on the edge of what I can classify as "enjoyable" — 12 years ago
Pete Contaldi
Very hard to imagine a youthful wine drinking any better than Barbour 201 3. Beautifully expressive, uber-concentrated and yet structured for a long life. Wow! — 10 years ago
