Had a virtual tasting with the winemaker of Law, Philipp Pfunder. Scott Hawley, now at Torrin made this particular wine. Dark fruited: Plum, raspberry and juicy ripe fruit. After a 2-3 hours you started to get secondary notes of pipe tobacco and Cassis. Lots of fun... — 6 years ago
Perfectly balanced juicy black fruit with a long long finish — 8 years ago
2017 Vintage. 16.1% Alcohol. While watching Scott and Viquel’s video review of the latest releases, Gail wanted some wine so I stopped it to get this baby. Enjoyed while watching the rest although Le Devoir was the earlier release. Interesting to have a blend of 76% Syrah and 24% Graciano. Nice fruit but we’ll try to cellar these a bit. — 5 years ago

With a little air it delivers a strong Syrah — 5 years ago
delicious!!! Tons of energy, vibrant, spicy red fruits, but not over ripe. Like a very classy Paso GSM. Wish the finish carried on longer, but it's showing more and more in glass. The quality shines through. After tasting a Torrin GSM today, this takes the cake. Would definitely follow this producer, lots of promise. — 12 years ago

2014 Vintage. 16% Alcohol. Needs a bit more time but extremely enjoyable. First time we’ve seen a white wax seal on any SQN. Part of Gail’s birthday celebration. With black truffles on house made fettuccine at Il Cortile in Paso Robles. First wine from that wooden six pack. After a day of tastings at Torrin, McPrice Meyers, Fulldraw, Booker and Benom, had to be a special bottle to stand out! Paso rocks! — 5 years ago
