I was served this dessert wine from Tor Kenward blind, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it is not a Sauternes. It reminds me of 2009 Guiraud, though perhaps slightly less concentrated. As the glass warms up, heady aromas of ripe apricot, dried pineapple, clover honey, candied ginger and baking spices leap forth. Unctuously textured, with vibrant acidity. The finish on this golden-robed beauty lasts for well over a minute. — 12 years ago

Not the best TOR I've had, but a good solid contender. A few have been off the charts, which is what I always hope for, but I'd take more if I could afford it. Not a daily drinker, for me at least. Wish it was. — 11 years ago
