Big chewy wine with firm tannins. Dry fruit. — 12 years ago
Great tannin structure, alcohol content compliments it well, beautiful color: nothing inky, great mountain fruit: deep with a long finish. — 13 years ago
The '11 Bodegas Barco de Piedra Tempranillo is proof that good wine doesn't have to be expensive. Bluish purple in color, this medium-bodied wine emits a bouquet of black fruits, cherries, licorice, pepper and leather. It's delightfully creamy, velvety and complex. Very impressive for the money. — 13 years ago
Nice spice and red fruits on the palate. Hints of wet road tar and smoke. Not a strong finish but nice — 12 years ago
