To me it is a little more sweet than I'm used to for Sonoma County Zin, tastes a bit more like Lodi. If $10, a steal. If $15, maybe just ok. — 9 years ago

We had the pleasure if meeting Kelby the winemaker when he was in town last summer. We really enjoyed the wines from the Finger Lakes. — 12 years ago
Smooth Zinfandel from valley? — 10 years ago
Oak notes and some darker stewed fruit notes such as cherry. Strong tannins on palette with slight acidity. — 11 years ago
@LangmeilWinery never seems to fail to deliver. We don't see a wide array of wines but they're definitely a fave. — 11 years ago

Tight but really good — 8 years ago
Had to open another bottle as the tannic structure in the last one was so striking. Decanted for the bulk of the day as this was tight & tannic for several hours. The decant is the key as it is now a pleasure of smoky red fruit & light herbal quality. Will check back on these in a few years. Serious stuff. — 9 years ago
Medium-high acidity. Leather, currant and gooseberry. Nice for duck or rack of lamb. — 10 years ago
Reasonably priced, delicious and a great conversation starter.
It looks either like a bottle of olive oil or balsamic vinegar.
Either way- we bought a case! — 11 years ago
Smooth and extremely drinkable.
