Nice touch of residual sugar up front and good texture and weight. — 9 years ago
Prunes, plums, raisins...damp wet mushroom underbrush and thistle.
An Autumnal wine...Still young and a bit big for me, but all in all highly quaffable juice. — 9 years ago

We had this at Thistle in McMinnville, Oregon — 10 years ago
Completely unexpected. Tastes like a cross between Vernier and Villemade. Carbonic was less evident than typical Loire. A wind that also lets one understand the use of concrete too. Drank with fantastic dinner at Thistle in McMiniville. — 10 years ago
Medium high intensity of garnet & a dense purple core. Medium & slightly aged aromas of dried brambly red fruit. Nice musty/earthy notes that give way to dried thistle & cherry flavors on the palate with a slate, pepper & mineral finish all wrapped in warm, well balanced oak. Medium tannins & moderately high alcohol length & finish is medium. A great bargain at $19. — 10 years ago
Sea, mist, wild strawberries, thistle, bergamote, thyme, short in mouth, sandy, pine cones — 7 years ago
Wondrtful lite wine, versatile. a lot of red flowers, subtle red fruit, pomegranate, cherry, earthy notes, thistle, freshly rained on underbrush, herbs. Great value. — 8 years ago
Cameron has made a vermouth, by serendipitous means and by realizing that the amaro herbs of milk thistle, rosemary, cardoon, sumac, quassia bark and chamomile were already growing on the property. This vermouth is based on a barrel of 2010 Cameron Pinot Noir, with these herbs, honey, and a fleck of electrifying orange peel that adds to the brisk acidity and depth of plush yet bitter flavors tingling on the palate. — 9 years ago
Drier and more robust than this winery's Batteau Red but just as good with smoke and warm fruit flavors that linger. #vawine — 9 years ago
Cinnamon and I decided to stay with the chalk theme to go with out haul from the Carmel Cheese Shop and our fresh-from-Castroville Thistle Hut artichokes. This en Rama bottling was fantastic, close to Amontillado richness and complexity, but all Fino refreshment! — 9 years ago
Don't really know what this #wine is...red fruit, weight, spice, malo, tannin, structure — 10 years ago

Floral notes on the nose with a degree of banana and passionfruit. — 8 years ago
Lots of tiny bubbles with a thick head. Good aroma of cloves, banana and spice. Smooth, balanced mouthfeel with light malt and a bit of hops. The barrel aging brings the flavors together nicely! — 9 years ago
Sweet leather, thistle, earth and a very complex palate. Leaning on the Brett for the palate weight — 10 years ago

Fading color at such a young age? Cool. Aromas of cherry pie filling & burnt corkboard, cut branches & a weird thistle note. Fruit flavor is cranberry w/ mulled spiced & a dollop of cola. Cool stuff. — 10 years ago
Great Pinot Noir. It's right at its peak, but still tasty. — 11 years ago
