This is awesome. How often do you get a blend of vermentino, marsanne, Grenache blanc, picpoul from the U.S. With 50% skin fermentation. Almost looks like Sauternes in the glass. But the mouthfeel and balance are amazing. — 11 years ago
Natural Orange Wine with skin maceration this wine is lively and beautiful. A " white " for red drinkers... — 11 years ago
This wine reminds me distinctly of a Muscat my grandfather produced in 2010; and the color is the first indication. Obvious extended skin contact, but low enough extraction to reach a lite-honey color. The nose is pungent and intense with tangerine skin wrapped in wild, homemade perfumes. The mouthfeel is giving yet tense, with slightly underripe mandarin orange and a twist of lime. Interesting wine. Authentic wine. — 12 years ago
Ryan's wine. Skin contact is very evident, but the balance is good. Nice acidity. Good salmon wine tonight. — 10 years ago

Super dark inky red, with magenta streaks. Thick chunky notes of creme de cassis, tobacco and spice on the nose, with just the slightest touch of VA. Velvety smooth and thick with strong presence of ripe plum, integrated and nuanced tannins and a zing of limoncello based acidity that enters by mid palate. The finish is warmed by some boozy laced spiciness, and ends with smoldering vanilla and bourbon tones. A touch sweet overall, but still a stellar example of how to do Napa cab, especially for the price. — 11 years ago
Loads of fruit. A note of dried apple skin. Close to perfection but there is still plenty of time left in this bottle. — 11 years ago
Bea skin contact, less funky and tannic mouthfeel than the 2007 but still a joy! — 12 years ago
