Prune nose. Nice dark color. A micro producer. They have trouble now to get grapes as money flows into Burgundy they loose out. Beautiful wine 🍷 could use another 3 years or so. Cherry 🍒 cranberry touch of lemon 🍋 zest and chalk / really well done / this is ‘handmade’. Blows Bize and Pavelot the apparent benchmarks for Savigny out of the water. Amitié wines online has these or Meritage in Encinitas and a bunch of Michelin Star restaurants in SF. You can’t go wrong if you like his traditional style. — 7 years ago
Didn't bring a red as we weren't planning on drink more than a btl, and that Leroy Monty did the trick, but our palates got hungry for some red, so looked at the half btl list(needed to drive back to SF) and chose this, great vintage and a solid producer. This is in a beautiful place right now, plenty of room for improvement, but complemented dinner just right. — 8 years ago
Soft, dark berries & leather. Medium tannins & body. Loved it paired with the bucatini at Tosca Cafe in SF. — 10 years ago
This is a really nice, rich sake I bought from True Sake in SF today. Enjoy! — 10 years ago
P&P in SF home of great old friend. Kirsch, cedar and jammy fruit (framboise?) in a still-not-completely open package. Likely to score way higher with air or age. So good. — 10 years ago

I had the Late Harvest Zinfandel (375 ml) which I am not sure is identified correctly here. This is a pretty fragrant bottle Cherries, fresh raspberries and sweet floral aromas hit your nose. On the palate there is a bunch of stuff going on. Red fruit, dark fruit, vanilla and more. This is a sweet dessert wine to me and it goes well with a cigar. — 8 years ago
Dense and stony, at its apogee and strutting its stuff. Dark black and red berry completely resolved but powerful, concentrated. Some residual tension holding it together beautifully. Long finish of light spice and a hint of nuttiness. Outstanding! Kudos to @Flatiron Wines in SF. — 8 years ago
09 En Chaillot. Delicious but not very open. Great with filet and truffle butter at Les Clos SF — 9 years ago
One of the nicer wines of the Brunello event in SF today. A little funky on the nose but not overpowering. Finished with note of coffee and chocolate. — 10 years ago
Believe the hype. It's very good, SF chronicle top 100 of 2014. It has an incredible depth of profile from fruit to mineral notes. This wine can go with almost any food pairing. It has a peach, almond like profile with the acidity of a white wine yet with a wet stone mid palette. Very worth it. — 10 years ago

My fav white of La Paulee SF in 2018 and one of least expensive! Fruit and acid in perfect balance. Lean enough I could drink a bottle in 20 mins 😋 — 7 years ago
