Trying to play catch up on my stash of Phantom. 05 was showing its age when I opened it last year. I opened the 06 a few weeks ago and again to no fault of the vineyard, winemaker etc, it was a bust. But this 07...:😋👏🍷 oh how good you are. Body was starting to lighten up but the fruit was still there. Jammy with some burnt bbq ends, a touch of black pepper, smoke. Eloquent down to the last drop 😋 this has been a fun experiment and now I feel comfortable with the rest of the vertical sitting in the cellar. — 9 years ago
