Are you kidding me?! Got this at the winery a few years ago. It's unreal how youthful this is. The color has faded to that of a dark Pinot, but very little bricking. Earthy notes, followed by fresh and decayed red fruits, there are still intense tannins that are so well integrated into the wine that it last on the palate for what seems to be hours. Probably the best under $15 Tuscan I've had. Medium body, fresh cherry, a little herb. Some complexity and pleasant tannins to the finish which is rare for a Sangiovese at this price point. — 10 years ago
