Welcome my friends to my little wine review! As you may know Ive been considering joining Naked wines dot com. Tonight we are drinking Tom Shula 2014 Red Wine from Sonoma County. This is actualy a merlot grape. So lets begin with this new winemaker made famous by Naked Wines a run! The cork is in perfect condition. The color is dark dark purple and very opaque... I already love it! The legs are long and slow - 8 seconds on average. The boquet is that of blackberry and black currant. The initial palate changes as does the boquet as it opens up - see naked wines for the non decanted tasting- the initial boquet after decanting for one hour is sweet fig and blackberries on the vine😊. The initial palate is stimulating on the sides of the tongue and reminds me of a green fig - which I have in my back yard. There is also hints of blackberries and rasberries. The finish is amazing! There are hints of sweet plum washed in a buttery silky finish with no aftertaste. It is medium dry. It leaves you wanting another taste as soon as the glass leaves your mouth!!!!!! FANTASTIC! As an angel I can buy this for 15 dollars!!!!!! It is as good as any 100 dollar high end cab Ive ever had and its a merlot! Wow! Buy this one buy the case!!!! The problem is since Tom is such a small winery, his supplys will run out very fast!!!!! Based on price and taste it gets a 9.!!!!! — 10 years ago

The „Cat-hole Riesling“. I am a fan of Leitz. His prices for GG‘s are great. Herbaceous and tight needs time. Tart, sour apricot, lime. elderberry flowers focused and precise a classic Rheingau. A world class wine for a very reasonable price. And yes exotic that is just the way the Riesling grape is - I have a vine in my front yard. @ the Meritage in Encinitas. — 7 years ago
