This is perfect for July 4th. Zin that tastes like zin but without the chocolate and oak. Could smell it for days. Palate is strawberry jam with stone, forest, and bright acidic fruit. If you like the minimalist wine movement, you must try this. Especially the 2016. — 7 years ago

Let it breathe. Nice Zin with a spicy finish. Like it a lot. — 10 years ago
Earthy very appealing, woodsy nose, mouth is full jam on but not complex at all ...nevertheless very enjoyable for an any day zin. I would buy this again. — 10 years ago
Best White Zin I've ever had! — 11 years ago
Super smooth zin! Dark berries with spice on finish. Would be wonderful with Spicy ethnic or BBQ but great on its own — 5 years ago
This was a good Zin, rustic red in color, coffee, black cherry, a little jammy up front, some minerals, acidity was good, not as complexed as I would like , but good, finish was lighter than expected. — 7 years ago
The more of these I add, the more this app disappoints. How can it not find this accurately w/o me manually selecting? The wine itself I find ok. I thought these were supposed to be bigger. This one was better than the Hayne which surprised me. Better aromatics and still light given a Zin. — 7 years ago
Absolutely my favorite zin??? — 8 years ago
Classic fave that brings back great memories of hanging out with Chef @David Bland Good times! — 9 years ago
Every year that Venge creates this beauty, I rush out to buy as much as I can get! Mostly Zin, it is such a great blend showing deep inky violet color and a depth of taste to match. — 9 years ago
Very drinkable right now! Rich with a smooth finish- prob my fave of their Zin selection that I tasted (others are blends) — 10 years ago
Great Zin! Opened up beautifully after an hour decanting. Glad I cellared this before enjoying. — 11 years ago
Loved this zin from Rutherford ranch — 12 years ago
Very flavourful — 5 years ago
We enjoyed this Zin a lot. Tasting notes include all spice, floral, and strawberries. It’s potent with 15% alcohol. Paired well with dark chocolate and honey/garlic pork chops. — 5 years ago
Very good and smooth Zin! Heather brought to us for watching Grandsons and Kooper. 4/18 — 7 years ago
So much peat and smoke. Also more subtle grassy notes and earthy sweetness. Super light-bodied. A great Islay scotch. — 8 years ago
Solid Zin. Nice fruit, a bit light on the spice but well-balanced. — 9 years ago
Love the nose on this wine. Enjoyed by bourbon lovers and Zin lovers. Chewy and fruity. — 9 years ago
Go too reliable Zin for everyday enjoyment. — 9 years ago
Rhone garrigue + California fruit = Rigde zin. Ching took the trip to Little Star as a throwing down of the gauntlet and pulled out the semolina flour and cornmeal for a deep dish pie. She even managed to acquire some little gems for salad. Ridge provided the finishing touch. — 10 years ago
Big jammy zin on a cool fall night. — 11 years ago
