Complex wine that is somewhere between a left bank Bordeaux and golden triangle of napa wine. Notes of espresso roast intermingled with dark fruit liquor with a hint of Asian spice and soy. Very interesting. Keeps evolving with air. Very unique wine — 12 years ago

'09, the last year we had amazing grapes up here in the Emerald Triangle and this one proves it. Purchased in 2013 I had forgotten I had it. WOW!! Best I've ever had. Gio is simply amazing and continues to show he is, year after year. When back, and there it was! Couldn't believe the still had some...last bottle. Decisions, decisions. Gio is still outdoing himself. Amazing Olive Oil here too! A must if ever near "Dry Creek Valley" — 10 years ago
