This wonderful small producer just south east of Calistoga, Ca is one of my new favorites! Slight blueberry jam in the mid range, beautiful viscosity, smooth finish.

The Quintessence of Cabernet. If anything was truly the manifestation of a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, it's this 2007 Cuvée Claire from arguably the most historically significant winery in the valley. Profound cassis and vanilla depth with gripping texture might have even moved Hannah Weinberger to tears.

Beautiful expression of mountain fruit, rich on the nose and palate, fruit is present but nicely balanced with acidity and tannins are velvety.
