Black cherry, earth funk but brought and fruity. Great balance and acidity. Fun and interesting but also something I could drink regularly. Awesome baby bandol! — 9 years ago

Big bold red! It gets you close and teases — 9 years ago
Nice color of saturated gold. Nose of ample nutty flavor, green apple, fermented plum, and oaky almond. Taste of buttery smoothness, green apple, a bit pine apple, citrusy, oaky, roasted almonds, and grapefruit zest. Aftertaste of zesty bitterness, nutty almond, medium long. As a Virginian , I am proud of this bottle. Virginia wine, way to go! — 10 years ago

Big, rich and bold. Lightly sweet up front and tart + spice on the back. A bit on the tart side of the spectrum for me. Tart fruits really pop! — 8 years ago
