Lovely off dry white. Super fine bulbs. Crisp and somewhat sweet. Fun experience — 6 years ago
Paired with roast guinea hen very well. Smooth, crisp finish & some berries. — 7 years ago
2013. 11.5 ABV! The Hen. Talk about a light OR Pinot - this is the poster child! Tart, bright cherries, with a hint of strawberries and smoke. On the sweeter side, and even a tendency towards vinegar - still, loved it, and this style. Easy drinking. 9.1. — 8 years ago
Fat hen spicy garganega very interesting — 8 years ago
Paired with Cornish Hen and generously topped with white truffle. — 9 years ago
Always a treat to drink. Like their area wines more than the more expensive Gary, Roseanne & Pisoni bottling. At Little Hen, Haddonfield — 6 years ago
One of my favorite Aussie Reds! I found this gem for 6$ at Save Mart! — 6 years ago
Opulent style but terrific. Nuanced, smoke and forest floor. — 7 years ago
Stainless steel fermentation followed by sur lie yields a very nice chardonnay. — 8 years ago
Couldn't decide whether I like it. It's quite sweet when chilled but when warmer became quite cognacish. Smooth and very full bodied. Went beautifully with the Cornish hen — 8 years ago
I'm so in love with White Rose. Paired with smoked Cornish game hen and wild mushroom risotto — 9 years ago

I love the sweet blueberry and grape mixture. One of my favorite blueberry based wines. "It taste so good when it hits the lips" 🍇 🍷 — 5 years ago
Give this 2 hours minimum in a decanter - it’s shy at first but opens up to a really beautiful and varietally accurate cab franc expression. Ripe red and black cherry, freshly turned potting soil, green pepper, slightly horsey. My wife, who has a more sensitive palate, was turned off by the extent of barnyard here - I was more than happy to drink the bottle on my own. :)
Enjoyed tonight with a roasted Cornish game hen, prepared in the Zuni style, with sautéed brassicas and broiled polenta. Two more in the cellar - drinking great now but I’ll try to hold them for a couple years to see where things go. — 5 years ago
Surprisingly one of the better wines I’ve had in a bit, at Hen of the Woods in Burlington, VT. Would not have guessed it was just 2 years old. The red and black fruit on the nose is great, and it expresses a lot of earthy / grassy notes on the palate. Perfect acidity on the finish, and excellent with a very good fatty ribeye. Very nice! — 6 years ago

Amazing wine/ drank 2006 reserve- this wine can age longer I believe. Overall a very unique wine with tons of character- the tamisco grape is unique to the coastal region of Portugal - one of the old heirloom vines- and because I like thin mineral reds this is my dream come true for sipping wine! If you have a chance of getting this wine- Buy it by the case and hold on to it - very unique and should be more recognized for the hen that it is. — 8 years ago
Citrus, crushed shells, oily, chalky nose. Just the smell is worth the price of admission. Initially citrus, hen immediately almonds and oil, and a lingering shells and mineral finish. Love Roulot. — 9 years ago
Bruce Leboff
A huge wine. Lots of dark fruit and a hint of cassis on the nose. Still tannic and dark - lots of time left. Worked well with game meat and Cornish hen. — 5 years ago
