I mean.. a magnum hand selected by Frank himself. Twist my arm! — 10 years ago
Well with the extra dollars. This is one of my favorite cabs that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Smooth. Juicy. Amazing. — 10 years ago
Like a red burgundy with big hairy balls — 11 years ago
Wish I had an IV hooked up to my arm for this wine. It is seriously fleeking amazing - if that's a thing... — 11 years ago
Best hairy garnacha i've ever had. #legit — 11 years ago
Truly unique. Dryish and distance notwithstanding I would have it under my arm for further review. — 12 years ago

Twist my arm, been in the decanter for hours. Still wound up, hold on to it. — 13 years ago
Goal of the day: be a good, thoughtful, giving partner to my husband who is 45yrs young today. Lots of kid duty, lots of cooking (which I love, twist my arm) and topping the day off with steaks, potatoes and leeks au gratin (leeks, I love you so), and a gorgeous David Abreu masterpiece. Love love love it. #beanetgiver — 10 years ago
Bright, unripened red currants layer overtop anonymous dark fruits. Hairy on the palette; ultra-aggressive tannins. This is young and fierce after 2 hours of decant. Dramatically more assertive than the 2009 after similar time in bottle. Give the 2010 another 5 to 20 years. — 10 years ago
Good. Doesn't have the hairy mouth feeling — 10 years ago
In the Middle East I'd rip your arm off for this. But here not so much — 11 years ago
It looks as beautiful and elegant as a sparkling rosé should - pale salmon with fine bubbles. The nose is a basket of summer fruit. The strawberry aromas include an herbal note as if the fruit is still on the plant. A bit of apricot and a hint of orange peel decorates the main event. The tastes of summer are just as prevalent as the aromas. Cherries, strawberries and a few raspberries go arm in arm with a lovely expression of minerality and citrus. It couldn't have come along in a better season. — 11 years ago
Full bodied, lots of kick. Notes of caramel and walnut and toast. A bit hot. — 11 years ago
Hairy, shoe leather, mushroom. Pristine strawberry in mid. Steely finish that I wish went a bit longer. — 12 years ago

I'm getting this tattoo on one arm and Dirty & Rowdy on t'other. — 13 years ago
Liked it. Amazon. $14.50 — 10 years ago
Ridiculously good Frappato x Nero d'Avola. Tart cherries and bloody arm scabs. Tastes like an Italian summer day playing backyard soccer with the neighbors ⚽️ — 10 years ago
Best paired with Leo in The Revenant....I was instructed by the salesperson at the wine shop to let this open up for 20 minutes "to get past the hairy armpit stage" and to even decant it. Hmm okay? I think any Burgundian would disagree with the decanting bit so I just popped it and let it breathe a while. This had great structure. Oak and alcohol on the nose. Velvety on the palette with Earth and some remaining essence of oak. — 10 years ago
Berry crushed earth delicious like an Australians arm pit. — 11 years ago
Pretty delicious for a rose. I do like french roses are heavy on the mineral profile as well as acidic, unlike Californian roses which I don't normally like because of over floral and excessively sweet elementz. This wine surprises the palete with a crisp and small bite with a seemingly slight bubbly effect, not bubbly like champagne, but a natural and subtle tingly effect. This was purchased at $17.99 which is double the amount of what I have spent on other french roses, but we'll worth the price. By the way, good wines do not have to cost an arm an a leg like the overpriced Napa Valley brands. European wines are heavily undervalued in California.
A delicious Sancerre Rose good for a summer day/night. Can be paired with spring/summer/fall salads, light airy desserts, fruit, lighter seafood dishes such as grilled white fish or ceviche. Delicious with a cheese and charcuterie board. — 11 years ago
Hairy and barnyard from the outset - but beautiful pure Cab Franc follows. Lovely! — 11 years ago
Bubbles after work. Sure twist my arm... — 12 years ago
Needs more time in the bottle. Fresh but restrained. Llandoner Pelut (hairy Grenache) and Syrah. Was nice on day2 and better day3. — 13 years ago

Some confusion on identifying this. To be clear, this bottle is 52% Grenache 36% Carignan 12% Syrah. Fascinating nose of dried black cherry, smoky leather, and sultry lavender spice. Reserved palate that leans slightly towards acid. Center stage is taken by hairy tannins and a deep rich nuanced back palate and finish. Black spice and fruit, like cherries, a vanilla bean and a pip of star anise dried in a brick oven and set next to a steely leather saddle. Kudos to the blend here: each varietal speaks distinctly, and together they make a bottle with nuance WAY above its $12 price tag. If you like bone dry Syrah-ish reds, you owe yourself a bottle of this. — 10 years ago
