Good scotch for the price. — 6 years ago
Medium to deep ruby red. Dark nose with black pepper, cassis, black currants, graphite, a little greenery and crushed petals. Medium plus and chewy tannins (6.5/10) with a medium to medium plus bodied. Similar notes on the palate to the nose with lots of dark berries, graphite and very dry. Long finish. Insanely good value! Drink till 2024. — 7 years ago
Bloody good. It had to be as it cost the price of a small duchy.
I have a whole bottle of this greatness with me. Not a good idea.
Taste is sort of dry, not sweet and not bitter...all in equal mix. Taste of lots of stuff. It's been through different cask apparently. Bourbon, Madeira, Port...
Lovely aroma. Doesn't come to hit you right back. — 7 years ago
Smooth and smoky, from the Isle of Skye. Another one of the whiskies we tasted at the November Old Line Scotch Club meeting. #talisker #tenyear #whisky #oldlinescotchclub — 8 years ago
Great body, lot of pepper, currant and dried cherry — 8 years ago
Really full bodied Pinot with bigger tannic structure than most. Clive and allspice aromas with deep black cherry flavors. Not the greatest acidity but very good. — 9 years ago
Beautiful dark color, black fruit nose, great wine. — 10 years ago
A great value for a Pinot. High acidity with cherry, black tea and a vanilla finish. — 7 years ago
Big ruby, ripe, juicy, blackberries, black cherries, blueberries, black raspberries, spiced plum, violets, lots of black pepper, big spice-box, bay leaf, mint, light baking spices, crush dry volcanic rocks, brown dry earth and long ripe, juicy to dry spicy dark fruit finish that lasts 45-60 seconds. Tannins are nicely resolved...it's just starting it's peak. Good; tension, structure, balance, length and acidity. — 7 years ago
Wonderful ... Ready to drink with no aeration needed ... Nose of mixed cherry and black fruits is not shy ... Palate of darker fruits with cocoa undertones. SLH is a great Pinot appellation! — 8 years ago
Dark red fruit nose. Super ripe black cherry, blackberry, then light spice, like white pepper, and a little bit of funk. Clean on the palette. Very drinkable. Had on jun 29 2016. — 8 years ago
A deep ruby, the '11 Lucia Pinot Noir 'Garys' Vineyards' is generously perfumed with black cherry, licorice, rose petal and baking spice scents. The expansive palate is flavored with oaky notes of dark chocolate and cherry-cola. Nice lingering finish with a good balance of spicy acid and sweet ripe tannins. — 9 years ago
Straight out the bottle-
Nose has a very attractive red cherry and berry fruit character more towards cherry pie than fresh cherries, light touch of cinnamon and wet rosebud.
In the mouth, though light in body the mid palate has some serious depth and there's a great cut of acidity through sweet (though not jammy) redcurrant and spiced raspberry fruit.
After a few hours in the decanter
Wild strawberry starts coming to the fore along with touches of black olive. In the mouth there is more grip on the attack and that red fruit has firmed up and become more concentrated. Length is decent and more savoury than earlier with a very refreshing finish.
By no means a shouty take on Grenache this is honest, elegant and lives up to its name and Angela's ethos. It's a nourishing wine that is all too easy to drink, the fruit is incredibly attractive and almost belie's the wines formidable structure. Understated and one of the best 100% Grenache wines that I can remember drinking.

Love this wine! Must buy again and save for a special occasion! — 6 years ago
Black cherry, strawberry jam, leather, spinach, pepper and violets. Round on the palate with chewy tannins just dying for steak. Lovely boutique wine. — 7 years ago
Tonight's wine is provided to me by a close friend in wine. The 2013 Peter Michael Le Moulin Rouge Pinot Noir.
On the nose is luscious dark fruit, black cherry, black raspberry, cranberry, caramel, clove, vanilla, forest floor and just a hint of alcohol.
The palate has dense rich fruit, black cherry, black raspberry, cola, vanilla, smokey oak and forest soil.
There is medium + acidity, medium smooth tannin, well balanced full bodied with a full mouth feel and a good long finish.
This is a good expression of a California Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands.
Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 7 years ago
This is an a xcellently balanced Pinot from Santa Lucia. Lemon, cherry, and vegetable on the nose. Blackberry, mocha, black pepper, and cedar wood on the palate. — 8 years ago

Fun Friday evening with great wines.
KB Pinot, with some years on it, can blossom nicely. Still sporting some cola notes, with candied black cherry and earthy/herbal aromatics. Dark cocoa covered black cherries, and a dense/rich mid palate. Drinking very nicely right now. — 5 years ago
