Wow. These guys need time. Big bold tannic beauty. Had several and can't help myself. Need to wait five more years if I can. This one decanted 4 hours and was really good. A great one for the last bottle of the night. — 10 years ago
Seriously structured and still very young, providing severe tannins, toasty oak, dark cherries and Vahlrona chocolate flavors with minerality kicking in big time on the structured finish, echoing Hermitage similarities thanks to the roasted herb additions. Give it another five years. — 10 years ago

Big, jammy flavor. Wet mouth feel. Good finish. — 10 years ago
Post Army Ten Miler wine. Deep pure burgundy. Cherry, deep red fruit, and dusty wood. Big mouthful of red fruit up front, cola and earth. Lingering finish. Actually like the blend (cheaper) bottling better. A bit more austere than this one. But quality Cali pinot. — 10 years ago

Big bold Rhone red with a touch of earth and black berry its viscosity fills your pallet muting the high alcohol. This is a smooth winner that deserves to be in your collection. Enjoy — 10 years ago
Very much a New World Sangiovese, this bottle from Walla Walla Valley is still quite tasty. It has a big nose of cherries, smoke, and spice. Upon opening, the taste is very sharp but softens after decanting. The palate consists of oak and butterscotch, but the deep dark fruits steal the show. After the wine has had time to open up, the flavored of ripe cherries and leather display the best characteristics of the juice. The finish shows well integrated tannins and those typical Tuscan spicy notes. — 10 years ago
Has increased in price over the last five years, but is still a good value and flavor for a ubiquitous wine. — 10 years ago
