This wine his all the right notes for me. Funky, tannic, full of earthy, dark deliciousness. Love it! — 10 years ago
Dutch bottling of Corbieres, eleve en futs de chene in Roermond. The wine did not struck me as special before, but at this moment: wow! The wine trancends its qualification: beautiful smell with cherries, cedar and liquorice. Full bodied And also velvety. Rich wine. — 11 years ago

Plums and oak. Wonderful Bordeaux. — 11 years ago
Hand picked in Lyon, the label lured me into thinking that something magical awaited, a bit disappointed when opened. Plenty of fresh, vibrant fruit, but felt over oaked and missing the finesse of other Beaujolais I’ve had from the region. — 8 years ago
Fresh blackberries, blueberry compote, bell pepper, pottery soil, iron, black peppercorns, mushrooms, pencil shavings. Rounded acid/muted narrow velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, lush silky texture, earthy, smoky-peppery finish. Dark aromatics, smooth and refined for days. — 9 years ago

Wilson! No ! Come back!
Turcs supermarket wine, worst one we've had, ran out of my packed juice.

Day 2... smoky bacon bits,, tobacco, cracked pepper, plum and blackberry. Big and bold. Classic. Dry, tannic (especially for Syrah), with rich blue and blackberry fruit. Striking fruit leads to savory finish. Paired very well with elk chili. Showed well after a 2 hour decant yesterday. Drink with decant or hold. — 6 years ago
